I eat burger bowls every day for lunch and never get sick of them. I change it up with different sauces and seasonings for different flavors. So that keeps it interesting.
I started a strict carnivore diet a few years ago. And I ate just beef and butter for about 10 months. Then I started adding back other foods slowly and one at a time. And I’ve added a select few veggies back to my diet since then. I guess I’m more keto now and perhaps a bit paleo because I eat potatoes on weekends. That’s me going crazy!
But I still eat a pound of beef every day. And burger patties make that super easy.
I eat my burger bowls with the same toppings. And I change up the flavor with different seasonings. These are my go-to burger bowls throughout the week.

How I make my burger bowls
I cook four burger patties every day. I eat two for dinner the night that I cook them. And the other two patties are for breakfast and lunch. My breakfast patty is plain. And my lunch patty is a burger bowl.
I’ll also prep a tomato, onion, and red bell pepper saute mix on Sundays. And I use this as a topping for my burger bowl lunches throughout the week. I heat this up along with a chopped-up burger patty after making two scrambled eggs. Then I add avocado, seasonings, and a new topping – sunflower seeds!
Steak seasoning burger bowl

The steak seasoning gives this burger bowl a nice kick. I buy a premade steak seasoning at Lidl, but you can also get some on Amazon. I always make sure that there is no canola oil. The ingredients should just be spices. I’m ok with sunflower oil though since I eat sunflower seeds.
Cheesy potatoes & broccoli with guac burger bowl

For this burger bowl, I’m using mozzarella cheese for the burgers. I also cooked some broccoli and potatoes on the stovetop and melted some more mozzarella on top. I also added sauteed onion, pepper, and tomato mix with some guacamole.
I found out that I prefer cheddar cheese with my burger bowls. So I’ll use that from now on. I prefer to eat mozzarella fresh and as is.
Everything but the bagel seasoning burger bowl

I absolutely love the everything but the bagel seasoning. I like to use a lot of it as you can see! The dried onion and garlic in the seasonings give this burger bowl a nice kick.
Classic burger bowl

I call this one the classic because it includes potatoes, mayo, and ketchup. I top my dinner burgers with cheddar cheese, mayo, and ketchup. And I eat this every night for dinner. But on weekends, I make it a little special and add some cheesy potatoes and broccoli. This batch I used cheddar cheese which I like the most.
I use Primal Kitchen’s mayo because it’s the cleanest I’ve been able to find. You can get it at Target (where I buy), and it’s on Amazon.
Taco seasoning & guacamole burger bowl

Taco seasonings and guacamole are my favorites! I love making this for lunch because it’s quick and easy to put together. I use smoked paprika, chili, and cumin to make my burger patty have a taco taste. The guacamole and extra cilantro toppings finish it off very nicely.
