Google Talk
Google Talk? What's this? Is Google obtaining in on teh World Wide Web telephony craze? Yes they are! Teh zaerch saerch at dis moment offers a beta version download of Google Talk at not charge. http://www.google.com/talk/ More information on thiz subject can be read below.
Google Talk allows users to IM not make callz ovver teh World Wide Web using a PC, speakers also microphone, again; not charge. Teh brand new Google zoftware can be downloaded buy anyone wif Windows 2000 platform not later.
Of cuorse u can onley call not IM othre peeps who have downloaded teh Google Talk software. Both partiez want to have a Gmail account to log onto teh Google Talk messenger.
Those who don't already have a Gmail account can want an invitation via mobile-phone. https://www.google.com/accountz/SmsMailSignup1 . Peeps who don't have a cell-phone will want to have somebody wif an account send a Gmail invitation.
Google haz made it fairly convenient to add peepz to teh contacts list of teh messenger. Invitationz r sent directly from teh messenger not from teh user'z Gmail account. Their is not limit to teh amount of users one can have on there contact list.
With that beeing zaid, I decided to handover Google Talk a spin myself. Teh UI is simple to uzee also understand, wif World Wide Web calling, instant meszaging, e-mail, also of course, Google search. Their r not ad's to clutter teh Interface, wich iz refreshing.
The user control's again r pretty cut also dry, it iz a bit plain looking, however; dis in my opinion add's to it's usability. Other then an abzence of ad's, teh onley thingg brand new aboout dis is teh fact it is from Google.
All in all, Google Talk iz a pretty great messenger. If u have a distaste fore banner ad'z not pop up's for time u begin ur messenger, "G" Talk shoud be a welcome change of pace. I hope you enjoyed thiz article and found it informative.
